Game Night Instructions

For the last few weeks we have been hosting/participating in a team activity that is not work related in order to foster some collective fun time

There are a series of trivia games put out by Jackbox Games that you can play, and by using Jackbox.TV, you can actually connect and have the host screenshare the game on a video meeting service like Zoom or Google Hangouts.
Here are the steps
1. Someone needs to have purchased a Jackbox title
(to get started Drawful 2 is FREE right now)

Buying the games can be done from the creator for different gaming systems jackboxgames.com but it is best to have an account with Steam (it’s free) store.steampowered.com — It’s like a library for your game software, very useful.

Let’s call that person the “host” to make it easy to describe. That person should launch the game on their computer.

I would suggest buying Party Pack 3, if you liked Drawful 2 (FREE), it has a great variety of games. https://store.steampowered.com/search/?sort_by=Price_DESC&term=jackbox

2. The host should share their screen on their favourite video meeting service
Google Hangouts, Zoom, Microsoft Teams, whatever. If you’re the host, find the button that shares your screen with the other people on your call.
3. Go to Jackbox.TV and enter the code you see
It’s a four-letter code for your specific room, and you enter it using your phone. (on a phone or tablet is best but it can be done on your computer in another browser window)

4. Start playing!
That’s it!

And if none of that made sense here’s a video from Jackbox Games.
